The program uses guided conversations, relationship education, reflection, practical tools, and principles from The H.O.T. Guide: Building Stronger Relationships for a Lifetime of Love.
The program is designed to help couples strengthen areas including:
- Communication
- Trust
- Conflict resolution
- Forgiveness
- Emotional awareness
- Intimacy
- Financial partnership
- Teamwork
- Relationship expectations
- Accountability
- Intentional commitment
The program is guided by the H.O.T. principles of Honesty, Open Communication, and Transparency.
The program is intended to support growth and informed relationship decisions. Participation does not guarantee that a relationship will continue, reconcile, or achieve a particular outcome.
Section 2
Coaching Is Not Therapy
This program is relationship coaching and education. It is not psychotherapy, diagnosis, medical treatment, legal advice, crisis intervention, or emergency mental health care. Participation does not create a therapist client relationship or therapist client privilege.
If either partner needs individualized mental health treatment, medical care, legal assistance, substance use treatment, domestic violence services, or emergency intervention, appropriate licensed or emergency resources should be contacted.
If there is immediate danger or a mental health emergency, participants should contact emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource rather than relying on this program.
Section 3
Participant Expectations for the 12 Weeks
Show Up With Intention
Participants are expected to attend scheduled program sessions prepared to participate, listen, reflect, and engage respectfully.
Commit to the Full Process
Relationship growth requires consistency. Couples are expected to approach the entire 12 week experience with seriousness and a willingness to work between sessions.
Complete the Weekly Reading and Growth Work
Participants are expected to complete assigned reading from The H.O.T. Guide, reflection prompts, couple conversations, and practical exercises connected to each week's focus.
Practice H.O.T.
Participants agree to practice Honesty, Open Communication, and Transparency throughout the program. This includes speaking truthfully, communicating respectfully, listening to understand, and addressing concerns directly rather than avoiding important conversations.
Communicate With Respect
Disagreement is expected. Disrespect is not. Participants agree to avoid threats, intimidation, name calling, humiliation, degrading language, deliberate disruption, and hostile behavior during program activities.
Take Personal Responsibility
Each participant is responsible for examining personal behaviors, communication patterns, emotional triggers, expectations, choices, and contributions to the relationship. The program is not designed to place all responsibility on one partner.
Listen to Understand
Participants are expected to allow one another to speak, practice active listening, ask clarifying questions, and avoid using the program solely to prove that one partner is right and the other is wrong.
Protect Privacy
Participants agree to respect the privacy of their partner and, when applicable, other program participants. Personal stories or identifying information shared by others should not be posted, recorded, distributed, or shared publicly without permission.
No Unauthorized Recording
Participants may not audio record, video record, photograph, screen record, or distribute program sessions, materials, or another participant's personal disclosures without prior written permission.
Use Program Materials Responsibly
Program materials, prompts, worksheets, curriculum content, and educational resources are provided for participants' personal relationship development. They may not be copied, sold, reproduced, taught, published, or distributed for commercial use without written permission.
Create Space for Difficult Conversations
Some topics may be emotionally uncomfortable. Participants agree to approach difficult conversations with honesty, patience, self awareness, and respect. Either partner may request a reasonable pause when emotions are escalating, with the intention of returning to the conversation in a healthier manner.
Seek Appropriate Help When Needed
Relationship coaching is not appropriate for every situation. Participants agree to seek additional professional, medical, legal, crisis, or safety support when circumstances require services beyond the scope of this program.
Section 4
Safety and Program Boundaries
The program is intended to support healthy relationship growth. It is not designed to manage immediate threats of harm, active violence, coercive control, stalking, emergency psychiatric symptoms, or other situations requiring specialized intervention.
Participants should not use a coaching session as a substitute for emergency or safety services. Freedom Zone Life Coaching may recommend that a participant seek another level or type of support when concerns fall outside the scope of relationship coaching.
Section 5
Shared Responsibility
Sophia Gethers and Freedom Zone Life Coaching will provide structure, education, guided reflection, relationship tools, and a respectful learning environment. Participants remain responsible for their own decisions, behaviors, communication, participation, and application of the material.
Progress depends in part on each participant's willingness to engage with the process. No specific relationship result is promised or guaranteed.
Section 6
Confidentiality and Privacy Expectations
Clients are expected to respect the privacy of information shared during the program. Participants should not publicly share their partner's private disclosures without permission.
Sessions may not be recorded without written authorization from Freedom Zone Life Coaching and all appropriate participants. Program materials must not be publicly distributed or reproduced without authorization.
Section 7
The H.O.T. Guide and Program Materials
The program incorporates principles from The H.O.T. Guide: Building Stronger Relationships for a Lifetime of Love. Clients may be asked to complete readings, reflections, and discussions connected to the program curriculum.
Original materials, exercises, educational content, worksheets, curriculum, and program resources provided by Freedom Zone Life Coaching are intended for enrolled participants. Clients may use these materials for their own relationship development. They may not resell, reproduce, teach, distribute, upload, publish, or commercially use the program materials without written permission.
Section 8
Communication and Scheduling
Communication with Sophia Gethers or Freedom Zone Life Coaching should remain respectful and related to the coaching program. Participation in the program does not provide unlimited access to the coach outside scheduled services.
Clients are responsible for attending scheduled sessions and communicating scheduling concerns as early as possible.
Section 9
Program Investment and Payment
The investment for the complete 12 week Unstuck & Unshakable™ Relationships program is $800. This contract does not create or change a refund, cancellation, installment, or payment policy. Any applicable financial terms must be communicated separately through the official enrollment or payment process.
Payment is processed securely through Square. There are no additional charges, payment plans, late fees, financing terms, subscriptions, or automatic renewals created by this contract.
Section 10
No Guarantee
Coaching outcomes vary depending on many factors including participation, circumstances, communication, willingness to apply tools, and individual choices. Freedom Zone Life Coaching and Sophia Gethers do not guarantee any specific personal or relationship result.
Section 11
Voluntary Participation and Free Will
Participation in this program is voluntary and undertaken by each partner's own free will, without coercion, pressure, threats, or force. Each partner understands that they are responsible for deciding whether participation remains appropriate for them and may begin, continue, pause, or end participation.
Ending participation does not by itself create or alter any payment, cancellation, or refund right that is not otherwise stated in writing or in the official payment process.
Section 11A
No Emergency Monitoring and Crisis Directions
This website, its forms, email, and this coaching program are not monitored for emergencies and cannot be relied upon for emergency response.
In an immediate emergency, contact local emergency services right away. In the United States, call or text 988 for suicide or mental health crisis support and call 911 for an immediate emergency. In Canada, call or text 9-8-8 and call 9-1-1. Outside the United States and Canada, contact the local emergency number, nearest emergency department, or local crisis service.
Section 11B
Relationship Safety and Coercive Control
Joint relationship coaching may be inappropriate where there is active violence, threats, coercive control, stalking, intimidation, abuse, retaliation, serious safety concerns, or an inability to participate freely. In those circumstances, local emergency, domestic violence, legal, medical, or licensed mental health resources should be used.
Section 11C
Participant Self Determination and Responsibility
Each partner remains solely responsible for their own decisions, actions, communication, relationships, health, safety, finances, and consequences. Decisions to remain in, change, reconcile, separate from, or end a relationship belong solely to the participants.
Section 11D
Emotional Nature of Relationship Work
Relationship conversations and self reflection can be uncomfortable, emotionally activating, or lead to difficult conversations. Each partner voluntarily chooses whether to engage and is responsible for seeking licensed or emergency support when needs exceed the scope of coaching.
Section 11E
Interstate and International Scope
Freedom Zone Life Coaching provides coaching and education, not regulated psychotherapy or professional counseling in jurisdictions where it is not authorized to provide those licensed services. Laws vary by state, province, territory, and country. Participants are responsible for determining whether coaching is appropriate and lawful where they are located and for obtaining locally licensed services when needed. Mandatory consumer rights under applicable local law are not waived.
Section 11F
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sophia Gethers, Freedom Zone Life Coaching, and their officers, contractors, representatives, and affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for the consequences of a participant's independent decisions, actions, omissions, or application of coaching information. To the fullest extent permitted by law, aggregate liability arising from this program shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the claimant for the program giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in this contract excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited.
Section 11G
Release and Personal Responsibility
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, each partner acknowledges that they voluntarily assume responsibility for their independent choices and agrees not to hold Sophia Gethers or Freedom Zone Life Coaching responsible for outcomes caused by their own decisions, actions, failure to seek appropriate licensed help, or use of educational information outside its intended purpose. This is not an absolute release where law prohibits it.
Section 11H
Governing Law and Venue
To the extent permitted by applicable law, this contract is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law rules, and disputes should be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Fayette County, Georgia, unless mandatory law requires otherwise. This does not waive nonwaivable consumer rights.
Section 11I
Severability, No Waiver, Entire Agreement, and Electronic Acceptance
If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the fullest extent permitted by law. Failure to enforce a provision does not waive future enforcement.
This contract, together with the Terms, the Privacy policy, intake acknowledgments, and the official payment terms, forms the applicable written understanding. Electronic checkboxes, typed signatures, and electronic submissions may serve as evidence of acknowledgment and acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
Section 12
The H.O.T. Commitment
Honesty
I will make a sincere effort to be truthful about my feelings, concerns, actions, needs, and relationship experiences.
Open Communication
I will make a sincere effort to communicate respectfully, listen actively, and remain willing to discuss important issues rather than automatically shutting down or avoiding them.
Transparency
I will make a sincere effort to reduce secrecy, clarify expectations, communicate relevant concerns, and participate in the relationship with greater openness and accountability.
Section 13
Our 12 Week Commitment
By participating in Unstuck & Unshakable™ Relationships, we understand that lasting relationship growth requires more than attending sessions. We are being invited to practice what we learn, examine our own patterns, complete the weekly work, communicate with greater intention, and make decisions that support a healthier relationship.
We understand that the purpose of this program is not perfection. The purpose is greater awareness, healthier communication, stronger relationship skills, and intentional action.
